CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Dec. 08, 2008) – BACE, a leading manufacturer of heavy duty balers and compactors for use in the recycling and waste management industry, announces that effective immediately it has reduced its prices on all products to reflect the current reduction in steel costs.

“BACE has always placed our customers first. As steel prices increased dramatically over the past three years, BACE took the unusual position of absorbing those increases. While other manufacturers increased prices and added steel surcharges, BACE only introduced a single small increase and no steel surcharge. In addition, the BACE increase was based on the actual steel cost contained in our products, not a blanket increase on the overall price.” said Frederick Waite, CEO of BACE.
